Our Chindi Line is crafted from upcycled fabric waste, giving a new life to discarded textiles from local Indian factories as well as from the EU and US. India receives textile waste by the tonne, much of which is transformed into vibrant home furnishings for the local market. In bustling bazaars, you’ll find striking handwoven and braided mats made from this very waste. We handpick the most stunning colour combinations from these creations and repurpose them into something truly special.

We’ve even travelled to one of India’s largest upcycling hubs “Panipat”where mountains of textile waste line the walls of massive warehouses. There, we developed our own unique textiles, salvaging beauty from what would otherwise be discarded.

Each Chindi Clutch Bag is one-of-a-kind, or having weave variation for the ones of the same colour/design.

It can be worn in two ways: as a sling bag with a metal chain strap and leather shoulder pad, or as a clutch by simply removing the strap. Inside, you’ll find a small zip pocket and a cheerful lining made from our signature blue checkered lungi fabric.

International shipments are not eligible for returns or exchange.
